As reported by Crossroads Ambulance Service, the Frankfort Fire Protection District's new Medwerks ambulance remount is nearing completion. The vehicle is currently undergoing the final stages of electrical work and interior customization at Alexis Fire Equipment Company. The graphics have been applied, and only minor details remain before the ambulance is ready for delivery. It’s exciting to see such a high-quality remount coming together, especially with the robust Ford F-550 chassis serving as the base.
Attached are some photos provided by Crossroads Ambulance Sales, showcasing the progress and attention to detail that goes into building these vehicles. These images give a great sense of the transformation from a standard chassis to a fully functional, state-of-the-art ambulance.
