Comparison of SPR700 and JAT710 Air Jet Looms from Comparative Experiments

Jiangsu Junda Textile Co., Ltd. has 96 sets of Japanese Toyota JAT710 air jet looms, and is equipped with Germany KARL MAYER nine-unit double-slot sizing machine, Belgian Atlas oil-free screw air compressor, Italy Keji Machines such as drum machines and domestic warping machines. At the beginning of 2005, our company cooperated with Ningbo Youngor Rizhong Textile Printing and Dyeing Co., Ltd. to produce high-grade yarn-dyed shirt fabrics. In order to alleviate the pressure of production, our company has carried out a comparative production test on the domestic air jet loom and the Japanese Toyota air jet loom, and made a preliminary reference for re-adding equipment.


We selected four SPR700 air jet looms produced by Wuxi Shipland Air Jet Loom Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and Japan Toyota JAT710 air jet looms to conduct comparative production tests on high-grade yarn-dyed fabrics. In order to find out the gap between the Sprout SPR700 air jet loom and the JAT710 air jet loom, in order to have a clear understanding of the domestic air jet loom, we have selected a representative 12 color fabric varieties, while at the Sputa SPR700 air-jet weaving The machine was compared with the Toyota JAT710 air jet loom. From the data recorded in the test, the average number of latitude and longitude stops of the Sputa SPR700 air jet loom was 4.17 and the number of latitude stops was 8.74; the average number of voyage stops of the Toyota JAT710 air jet loom was 3.23, and the latitude was stopped. The number of times is 8.23. The average production efficiency of the Sprout SPR700 air jet loom is 89.3%, and that of the Toyota JAT710 air jet loom is 91.4%. The average bench production and the first-class rate of the Sprinter SPR700 air-jet looms are close to the level of the Toyota JAT710 air-jet looms. The Sprinter SPR700 air-jet looms have slightly longer latitude and longitude than the Toyota JAT710 air-jet looms. The reasons for the analysis are as follows: First, the ambient temperature of the SPR700 air jet loom is about 2 °C higher than that of the Toyota JAT710, and the relative humidity is about 5% lower, which has a certain impact on the operation of the equipment. Second, the type of weft feeder is different. The diameter of the Ayol weft feeder around the yarn of the Sprinter SPR700 air jet loom is small, and the number of unwinding loops is large each time, and the unwinding tension is too large; Toyota JAT710 air jet loom The matching weft feeder winding drum has a large diameter and a certain taper, which is beneficial to the unwinding of the weft. Third, some domestic air-jet looms are not as stable as imported parts, which affects the efficiency of the machine to a certain extent. Fourth, the surface of the nylon used in the waste side output mechanism has a small friction coefficient, which tends to cause the tension of the waste edge to relax, resulting in unclear opening of the waste side yarn and causing weft stop.


The air jet loom is a high-energy model. For this reason, we specifically compare the gas consumption and power consumption of the SPR700 air jet loom with the Toyota JAT710 air jet loom under the same production conditions. It can be seen from the comparison test results that the varieties of the Sputa SPR700 air jet looms are highly adaptable, and more than 60 varieties of various color fabrics have been woven. All the products produced by the Toyota JAT710 air-jet looms have been weaved on the SPR700 air-jet looms. The weaving effect is not much different, and it has high production efficiency and basically the same product quality. Secondly, the SPR700 air-jet looms are highly integrated, with low vibration and stable mechanical performance at 720 rpm. The self-developed electronic control system is controlled by distributed control of multi-unit and high-performance CPU. Various process and control parameters ensure the processing speed of the data, meet the weaving requirements of high-speed air jet loom, and the technical level of mechatronics is close to the level of Toyota JAT710 air jet loom. In addition, according to the test data, the SPR700 air jet looms are close to or reach the level of the Toyota JAT710 air jet loom under the same speed and variety conditions. However, there is still a certain gap between the quality of some domestically produced components of the Sprout SPR700 air jet looms and the imported looms, which is also a common problem of domestic high-speed air jet looms. It is hoped that domestic air-jet looms manufacturers will strengthen cooperation with collaborative factories and research on the quality of key supporting parts, improve the level of the whole machine, and narrow the gap with imported advanced air jet looms.
