Generally, the resonant screen is divided into two types: elastic link type and inertial type according to the type of the transmission mechanism. At present, China mainly produces an elastic link type resonance screen using a dual mass system.
The structure of the elastic link type resonance screen is shown in the following figure. The main components are the drive and transmission mechanism, the upper and lower screen box, the leaf spring, the rubber spring, the vibration isolation spring, the fixed frame, the tensioning wheel and the like. The drive mechanism includes an electric motor and a V-belt, and the transmission mechanism includes an eccentric shaft, a connecting rod, and a spring. The structure of the screen box is substantially the same as that of the inertia vibrating screen, except that a support for fixing the rubber spring and the leaf spring is added to the side plate of the screen box. A rubber spring with a clearance is used as the main vibration spring to generate a nonlinear elastic force. The leaf spring is installed between the upper and lower screen boxes, and is usually made of electric wood with a thickness of 10~12mm, so that the two screen boxes can be directional vibration. The upper ends of the two sets of vibration isolation springs are respectively connected with two box springs, and the lower end is supported on the fixed frame, and in addition to the vibration isolation function, the screen box can be supported.
The working principle of the elastic link type resonance screen: when the motor is driven by the V-belt to drive the eccentric shaft mounted on the lower screen box, the eccentricity of the shaft causes the connecting rod to reciprocate, and the connecting rod acts through a spring mounted at the end thereof. The force is transmitted to the upper screen box, and the lower screen box is also subjected to the opposite direction of force, forcing the upper screen box and the lower screen box to move relative to each other in the direction of 45 degrees vibration. The screen box and the spring device form an elastic system and have its own vibration frequency. The transmission mechanism also has a certain forced vibration frequency. When the two frequencies are close to each other, the screen is operated near the resonance state.
When the screen box moves and compresses the spring, the spring stores the starting energy; when the screen box moves in the opposite direction, the spring releases the stored potential energy and converts into the kinetic energy of the screen box. Therefore, the working process of the resonant screen is a process in which the potential energy and kinetic energy of the system are mutually converted, thereby reducing power consumption.
The advantages of the resonance screen are that the productivity and the screening efficiency are high, the power consumption is small, the amplitude is large, and the dynamic load transmitted to the foundation is small, and thus it has been rapidly developed. However, due to the complex structure of the resonance screen, the large mass of the machine, the difficulty of the amplitude, the adjustment is complicated, and the screen box member is vulnerable to damage due to the large impact load, the application is limited, especially the circular vibrating screen and the linear vibrating screen. The development and promotion of advanced screening equipment has gradually replaced the resonance screen. For example, the ZKX1536 and 2ZKX1536 linear vibrating screens can replace the 2GL1540 resonant screen, and the ZKX2460 and 2ZKX2460 linear vibrating screens can replace the GLM2075 and 2GLM2075 resonant screens.
