Stephen Wilcox has shared a new set of images and detailed commentary from another intense fire incident in Dupage County, this time at 5130 Meadow Lane in Downers Grove. The fire was first reported at 4:32 PM on July 16, 2011. A jogger passing by noticed flames coming from the front door of a single-family home located in an exclusive neighborhood. She immediately called 9-1-1. The area is heavily wooded with creeks, steep ravines, narrow roads, and limited visibility of fire hydrants from the road. This house was a three-story structure, measuring approximately 75 feet by 125 feet, constructed with ordinary materials and not protected by any fire suppression systems. Here are some of the photos taken by Stephen Wilcox during his visit to the scene: ![Looking from I-355 east towards the header](#) *Stephen Wilcox photo – Looking from I-355 east towards the header.* ![The front driveway on my arrival](#) *Stephen Wilcox photo – The front driveway on my arrival.* ![Heavy fire and collapsed roof visible from the second floor rear](#) *Stephen Wilcox photo – Heavy fire and collapsed roof visible from the second floor rear.* ![A portion of the east roof, coming in](#) *Stephen Wilcox photo – A portion of the east roof, coming in.* ![From the second floor rear, the fire is spreading now breaking through the roof](#) *Stephen Wilcox photo – From the second floor rear, the fire is spreading now breaking through the roof.* ![Fire can be seen taking possession of the building](#) *Stephen Wilcox photo – Fire can be seen taking possession of the building.* ![Water was another difficulty.
