Product Description
The Pneumatic Trunnion Ball Valve is ideal for on-off control of air, water, oil, and other compatible media. It features a three-piece investment cast body with a swing-out design for easy maintenance. The spring-return actuator uses an air pressure signal (80–120 PSI) to open the valve and springs to close it in case of power loss, ensuring a fail-safe operation. The maximum working temperature of the assembly is 180°F (80°C), but with an optional mounting kit, the temperature range can be extended up to 300°F (150°C), making it suitable for steam applications up to 50 PSI.
Compared to other types of valves, pneumatic ball valves offer advantages such as higher flow rates, greater pressure resistance, broader media compatibility, and reduced water hammer. They can be installed in any orientation, offering flexibility for various industrial applications.
