Unlike most fluorine chemical companies, Duodu Chemical Co., Ltd. has managed to achieve an average annual sales growth of 80% and double its profits each year. According to the company's chairman, Li Shijiang, these "two musts" have been key to Fluoride’s achievements. The company has focused on self-developed technologies and uses industrial waste materials as primary raw inputs, allowing it to create a sustainable and efficient production system. This approach has led to the development of a groundbreaking fluorine recycling economic model that sets it apart from competitors.
In the late 1990s, Fluoride pioneered a new technology for producing high-quality white carbon black from cryolite by-products in phosphate fertilizer production. This innovation broke away from the long-standing practice of using fluorite as the main raw material in China and opened up a new path for producing fluoride salts used in aluminum electrolysis. It marked a significant shift in China's fluorine chemical industry.
Subsequently, the company further expanded its capabilities by developing new technologies to produce fluoride salts from by-products like ammonium fluoroaluminate, as well as directly from kaolinite and industrial salt. These continuous innovations have helped reduce production costs by 10% to 20%, making Fluoride a strong competitor in the market.
In 2005, Fluoride participated in the design and development of a hydrofluoric acid production line for Yunnan Sanhuan Co., Ltd., marking its first major external project. In 2006, the company's "Fluorine Resource Comprehensive Utilization Project" was included in the national debt project for resource conservation and environmental protection. These efforts have significantly contributed to the rapid growth of polyfluoride within the domestic fluorine industry.

The entire project, including process design, equipment installation, and debugging, was completed in-house, earning praise from international partners. The company now produces 60,000 tons of anhydrous aluminum fluoride annually.
Additionally, Fluoride actively participates in standardization activities, aiming to become a top-tier enterprise. It has revised three national standards for cryolite, hydrofluoric acid, and anhydrous hydrogen fluoride, and contributed to the revision of the national aluminum fluoride standard. The company also developed analysis methods and standard samples for cryolite and aluminum fluoride instruments.
In September 2006, Fluoride was invited to represent China at the International Standards Organization conference in Paris, gaining recognition in the global fluoride industry.
