What’s new … CFD (more)

<

Hey everyone, I just wanted to share an update I got over the weekend while driving by the fabrication shops. Things seem to be progressing with the Chicago Fire Department's turret wagons. When I passed by, I noticed two brand-new Ford F-350s parked outside—one at the front and another at the back. This caught my attention because some people had previously mentioned that this particular shop might only handle lighting modifications, but I wasn't sure if that was accurate. To provide more context, I managed to snap a picture of their front sign, which clearly states that they offer full custom fabrication services. One of the trucks I saw is the 6-7-6 model, which has been a topic of interest for many. Interestingly, the turret no longer has any wraps around it. I tried to get a closer look at the turret itself, but I didn’t want to trespass onto the company’s property, so I had to settle for a distance shot. It was tough getting the perfect angle without being intrusive. For those who might have missed the previous updates, you can find them [here](#). Attached below are some photos I took. The first image shows the turret wagon up close, while the second captures the truck parked at the fabrication shop. There are also shots of another chassis and a general view of the shop itself. I’ll keep an eye out for further developments and post again if anything catches my attention. Best, Eric
