Honeywell teamed with Everrun Appliances for smart homes
On September 6, 2006, just a month prior, Beijing Pengrun Building witnessed a significant event—the GOME Whale Swallowing News Conference—where Honeywell launched its smart home initiative under the theme “Creating Blue Oceans Together, Vertically and Together.†This marked the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement between Honeywell (NYSE: HON), a global leader in automation control technology, and Peng Run Electronics, a key player in China’s high-end appliance retail market under the Gome Group.
