Manufacturers have introduced numerous new models to attract buyers. However, many consumers still feel that existing models don’t fully meet their needs. This suggests that the continued decline in the auto market is due to the mismatch between what’s being offered and what consumers truly want. Today’s Chinese consumers are more focused on vehicle quality, safety, comfort, and technological features. With increasing awareness of traffic safety, especially after the implementation of new regulations, both active and passive safety features are now essential. Consumers are also more rational in their purchasing decisions, prioritizing value for money. Additionally, urban environments—characterized by crowded roads and limited parking—have made compact and practical vehicles more appealing. With growing concerns about energy efficiency and environmental impact, fuel-efficient and eco-friendly models are becoming increasingly popular. These evolving demands are pushing the automotive market to become more segmented. A multi-functional vehicle that offers a satisfying driving experience while meeting diverse lifestyle needs is emerging as a new favorite.
