According to reports on the British media on the 9th, two British scientists have developed a device for "sniffing" urine samples for diagnosis of bladder cancer because the sensor device in the device can detect gaseous chemicals released from bladder cancer cells.
Professor Prubert of the University of Liverpool and Professor Ratcliffe of the University of the West England developed the instrument. Two scholars said that the preliminary test showed that the accuracy exceeded 90%, but further research was needed to improve the test method.
