Shun Te Electric successfully developed the world's largest capacity dry-type transformer
In January this year, Shun Te Electric successfully completed and shipped the world's largest capacity dry-type transformer, the SCZ9-25000/35/10.5, to the National Transformer Quality Supervision and Inspection Center. This transformer, designed and manufactured by the company, passed the critical "sustaining short-circuit capability test." All routine, type, and special tests were conducted, and the unit was finally sent to Shanghai Pudong Airport. This milestone marks the successful completion of Shun Te Electric's major dry-type transformer development project.
The world’s largest capacity dry-type power transformer is now part of Shun Te Electric’s contribution to the expansion project at Shanghai Pudong Airport. The company learned about the project in June 2005 and quickly formed a dedicated project team led by the marketing department. Design, production, finance, and logistics teams collaborated closely to prepare for the bid. The company carefully calculated costs and strategically analyzed the competitive landscape and customer needs. On August 26 of the same year, Shun Te Electric won the contract after outperforming strong competitors.
To meet the strict deadline—delivering the transformer for full testing by January 2006—the entire company worked intensively over three months. Despite the tight schedule and the complexity of the task, the team managed to complete the project on time. The transformer was successfully tested at the National Transformer Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, earning widespread recognition for Shun Te Electric’s efficiency and technical expertise.
This achievement not only highlights the company’s engineering capabilities but also reinforces its reputation as a reliable and innovative supplier in the electrical equipment industry.
Asphalt, being a thermoplastic material, requires precise temperature control during its production and storage processes. Heat transfer oils play a critical role in maintaining these temperatures to ensure optimal quality and performance of the asphalt.During the production process, heat transfer oil is used to heat the raw materials (such as aggregates and bitumen) to their required melting points. This ensures that the asphalt mixture can be properly mixed at the right temperature, which affects its viscosity and flow characteristics, ultimately impacting the quality and durability of the end product.
