The State Environmental Protection Administration, the Environmental Protection Association, and the Chemical Industry Association will jointly launch four new technologies to push the "three wastes" chemical industry

On March 6, the reporter learned from the introduction of Wang Xinfang, member of the National Committee of the Political Consultative Conference on Agriculture and the president of the China Environmental Protection Industry Association, that the State Environmental Protection Administration and the China Environmental Protection Industry Association have decided that from this year onwards, four projects will be launched. Strong new technology to solve the "three wastes" problem in the chemical industry.

According to Wang, a former vice minister of the Ministry of Chemical Industry and deputy director of the State Environmental Protection Administration, the four new technologies include the use of membrane technology to solve the problem of zero discharge and water recycling of small and medium-sized nitrogenous fertilizer companies, and the use of ammonia desulphurization technology to solve solid sulphogypsum pollution. Problems; Problems of retreading and reusing old tires; Using pressure swing adsorption technology to solve yellow phosphorus tail gas pollution and effective recycling problems. The Environmental Protection Administration and the China Environmental Protection Industry Association passed the analysis and research and finally determined the feasibility of the four technologies. Special member Wang mentioned that membrane technology, ammonia desulfurization and pressure swing adsorption technology all come from the chemical industry. It is the first time that these technologies have been jointly promoted by the Environmental Protection Industry Association and the Chemical Industry Association.

In answer to why these four new technologies were to be launched, Wang said that some of the existing environmental protection devices in the chemical industry have been running and the results are very good. However, with the development of chemical technology and the improvement of society's requirements for environmental protection, some existing technologies have obviously failed to solve the “three wastes” problem in the chemical production process. The future trend of development should be that the environmental protection department and the chemical industry should work together to research and adopt new technologies and overcome the “three wastes” problem of chemical industry as soon as possible.

Member Wang also said that the China Environmental Protection Industry Association will soon work with the China Nitrogen Fertilizer Industry Association and the China Rubber Industry Association to implement the technical problems of sewage treatment and renovation of used tires in small and medium-sized nitrogenous fertilizer companies. By adopting membrane technology, sewage from small and medium-sized nitrogenous fertilizer companies will be The discharge of the standard is finally done in the factory without recycling. The relevant state authorities also decided that the establishment of a producer responsibility extension system will be implemented in tire companies, that is, whoever produces tires will be renovated. At the same time, a certain cost is reserved for tire sales for the retreading of tires.

It is understood that in the large amount of "three wastes" produced in the chemical production process, the discharge volume of wastewater is ranked first in industrial wastewater, the discharge of waste gas ranks fourth, and the discharge of waste residue ranks fifth. Chemical "three wastes" is not only the biggest obstacle to the development of circular economy, but also the biggest driving force for the development of circular economy. Member Wang said that the four new environmental protection technologies to be launched have a clear purpose, which is to help chemical companies develop a recycling economy.
