The vessel measures 56.5 meters in length and 8.5 meters in width, with a refrigerated hold of 650 cubic meters capable of maintaining temperatures between -50°C and -55°C. This allows for the long-term preservation of high-quality tuna, making it ideal for deep-sea operations. With an endurance of 15,000 nautical miles, the ship is well-suited for extended voyages in remote oceanic regions.
Designed by Zhejiang Xinhai Ship Design Institute, "Zhouyuan Fishing No. 202" is one of the most technologically advanced ultra-low temperature longline fishing vessels built in China. Its design emphasizes efficiency, sustainability, and adaptability to global marine environments. Alongside its sister ship, "Zhouyuan Fishing No. 201," this project was approved under the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Agriculture during the "Tenth Five-Year Plan."
