In response to the rigorous testing standards set by Cummins for its B-series synthetic oil pump products, Hunan Oil Pump Co., Ltd. collaborated with a university to develop a semi-automatic machine performance test bed. This advanced system, featuring independent intellectual property rights and reaching domestic leading levels, was completed in under three months. Two units were built and put into operation, delivering excellent results. When executives from Cummins in the United States visited the company, they were impressed by the test equipment, which fully met the technical requirements established by the U.S. standards. The system also fulfilled all the performance testing needs of the product. Mr. Ignacio, Vice President of Cummins, highly praised and endorsed the project. The test equipment is fully automated, controlling the entire process from product loading and unloading to screen display, automatic hydraulic clamping, testing, data recording, and storage. It can measure multiple performance parameters, such as low, medium, and high speeds, pressure, flow, torque, oil temperature, and time—displaying these on the screen. Qualified products are automatically labeled with a product number and test date. If any technical parameter fails, the system triggers an audible and visual alarm, and the unqualified items are highlighted with a red warning on the screen. This ensures precision, efficiency, and reliability in the testing process.
